Okanagan Forested Family Session

This sweet family - what can I say?

I met Grace and Joey in early 2020 (pre-covid) when we met to see if we would be a good fit for my to photograph their wedding; and I can say confidently that within the first two minutes I knew that these were people that I wanted to work with. They are warm, welcoming and down-to-earth. Luckily, they felt the same and we left that first meeting excited for what was to come.

We all know what happened next, March of 2020 hit and everything c hanged. But these two handled all the curve balls with nothing but grace. They pivoted. They changed paths. Thankfully they still wanted me around!

Now, 3 years later, I was so darn happy when Grace reached out and asked if I would create some updated family images for them. This was the 5th time that I had these two in front of my camera and it is SO COOL to watch their sweet family grow; from their engagement session, a wedding, and now two babies later - it is such an honour to be chosen again to document this current chapter, and something that I will never take for granted.

We lucked out for their session, the golden light was filtering down through the trees, it was cool in the shade, both their boys were in wonderful moods (thanks to being prepped with naps and early dinners!) and we just got to catch up and laugh and wander together!

This family is truly a joy to be around and I am so extremely grateful that they want me to keep recording their family memories!
